I'm getting sick of being sick. I have things to do! I have 20 days left to plan at least a month worth of Hmong lessons for the school and I have about 1 done. Yesterday I attempted to be productive and got about half of what I have planned for the day done only because I got sick half way through the day and slept through the other half.
So anyways, I thought that this sickness was beginning to slowly fade since I was starting to feel better. I've been having a bigger appetite lately, I haven't been feeling TOO sick most days, my sense of smell seems to been tolerating... etc. I got a bit excited! So I've been experimenting with food because I can't stand to eat the same thing everyday that I've been eating. I've noticed I can eat chicken as long as it's plain, nothing too breaded or deep fried, I can eat melons, cereal bars, bread... nothing too sweet, or savory... still very very plain foods. I had Chipotle tacos a few days ago and of course it wasn't satisfying because it was SUPER plain: chicken, rice, mild sauce [chopped tomatoes], and lettuce. I was able to eat 2 without feeling anything but I highly doubt I'll do that again. $8 for 3 super plain tacos!!!! Gotta be kidding me! And if I'm on the go and need something quick, a plain McDonald's McChicken sandwhich or egg/sausage/cheese biscut seems to make the cut. Of course I haven't been eating it often, plus, every now and then I start feeling that feeling again and I feel like I have to start all over. Yesterday was one of those days. So I'm back to eating my mom's egg drop soup, fruits, cereal bars and pepermint candies. BLEH! I get so hungry but when I eat, it just seems to make me feel even more sick.
OH! And I've been craving warm drinks! I've been drinking hot coco, but it doesn't hit the spot. I've been taking a few sips of coffee a day and OMG I crave it SOO MUCH! My husband and mom won't allow me to drink a whole cup of coffee, even if it's decaf. What else is there that I can have that's ok for me to drink?
Baby is 9 weeks today!
